Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals invite you to strut your mutt in our 5th Annual 2008 Bark in the Park on August 16, 2008, at Summerlake Park, 11450 SW Winterlake Drive, Tigard, Oregon 97223.
On your BARK, get set, GO! Rev-up Rover and fire-up Fido because the BARK IN THE PARK is right around the fire hydrant and it’s fun for the entire family including furry members.
We hope that you will BARK your calendar and join us for all of our GRReat events. The fun for you and your four-legged friend begins with registration at 10:00 a.m. Then at 11:00 a.m., dogs large and small, pure and mixed breeds will high-TAIL it through Summerlake Park and the Bark Walk Loop (1 mile).
The walk will be followed by the ever PUP-ular Pet Fair which will include pet adoptions, vaccine and microchipping clinics, animal experts / how-to workshops, gifts, games, music, food and more! Oh, we can’t forget to mention the Mutt Show that is sure to keep you and your doggy HOWLing with delight.
Contests will include: Dog-Owner Look-a-like, Best Bark/Trick/Kiss, Bluffiest, Cutest, Ugliest, Biggest, Smallest and Best Costume. You are sure to have a DOG-GONE, TAIL-WAGGING good time, all while raising funds to help improve the living conditions and adoptability of shelter animals.
